Student Conduct/Dismissal

While enrolled at IHAS, students agree to abide by school policies and procedures and otherwise behave in a manner that represents us, our school, and our profession in a positive light. Professional standards of conduct and behavior are always in effect whether in the classroom or internship setting.

Students are expected to dress comfortably, yet appropriately for class. In addition, no firearms, drugs, alcohol, violence or abusive language is allowed in or outside the classroom.

IHAS reserves the right to reject any application for admission or dismiss any student for reasons of academics, attendance, conduct, arrears in payment, or not conforming to the rules and regulations of the school. In the event a student is terminated the school will notify the student in writing specifying the effective date of termination.
