Dorothy Martin-Neville, Ph.D., LMFT, LPC, EMP, Founder and President, is a state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in practice for 23 years.  Prior to founding the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences, she taught graduate level courses at St. Joseph’s College Counseling Institute.  Dr. Martin-Neville has received certificates in Jin Shin Do, Advanced Acupressure, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Iridology, and Reflexology and has studied Consegrity.  She is a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.  Dr. Martin-Neville is currently Vice-President of the Mental Health Association in Anguilla.  She is Co-Chair of an advisory board for a $2 million grant entitled Frontier Medicine that was awarded to UCONN Medical School from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  This grant currently supports research in cellular regeneration and cellular reconstruction, as well as cervical and breast cancers.  In addition, Dr. Martin-Neville received a grant from the NIH to research the application of The W.I.S.E Method™ in working with Fibromyalgia patients.

 

Toni Barillaro, OTR/L, EMP, graduated from Quinnipiac College with a BS in Allied Health and Sciences and has been practicing occupational therapy in a variety of settings.  Toni graduated from the three-year program at IHAS then went on for an advanced year of study in 2003.  She is a teacher for the EMP sophomore class and an internship preceptor.

 

Jack Berube, EMP, BS, Mathematics.  Jack is a 2007 EMP Program graduate and a teaching assistant for the EMC program.  He is also Reiki Level 1 certified.  Jack has 25-plus years within the Insurance, Healthcare and Financial Investments arena as a Senior Program Analyst, Senior Business Analyst and Senior Business Consultant for Aetna Life & Casualty, CIGNA, United Health Care and ING. 

 

Malinda Branson, MS, MEd, EMP, LPC is an EMP Senior year teacher at IHAS, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and is a graduate of the University of Hartford and of Florida State University.  She earned her Bachelors in Psychology and has earned her Masters' in Instructional Design and in Counseling.  Malinda graduated from the IHAS three-year program in 2001 and went on to complete the advanced year of training from IHAS in 2003.  She is a certified Reiki Master. In addition, Malinda has a private practice as an Energy Medicine Practitioner and a career counselor in West Hartford, CT.

 

Lori DuBow, PT, EMP, is a graduate of Boston University Sargent College of Allied Health, was a member of the first class to graduate from IHAS' four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner program.  Lori is a licensed Physical Therapist with over 28 years of experience in various settings as well as a level two Reiki practitioner.  Lori is a teacher for the Junior class at IHAS and was a Research Energy Medicine Practitioner for the Study of The W.I.S.E. Method™ on a Fibromyalgia Grant from NIH.  She also serves as the Director of the Internship Program for Junior and Senior Students at IHAS.

 

Suzanne Glaude, EMP, is a 2007 graduate of the IHAS four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner program.  Suzanne retired from the Aetna in 2004 after having spent over twenty years in their Information Technology department as a Sr. Systems Development Specialist.  She is now employed as a Chiropractic Assistant. Suzanne is a teacher assistant in the EMP program.  She is a certified Reiki Master and has been certified in Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection.  In addition, she has her own private practice as an Energy Medicine Practitioner.

 

Martha Griffin, BA, LMT, EMP, is a 2005 graduate of the IHAS four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner program. Martha is a Licensed Massage Therapist with Therapeutic Massage Associates, West Hartford, CT, with expertise in Acupressure, Kinesiology, and Polarity. Martha teaches massage therapy continuing education courses and is a teacher for the EMP senior class.

 

Pamela C. Griffin, AAS, BA, EMP is a 2006 graduate of the IHAS four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner Program.  Pam has an Associate Degree in Horticulture and worked for 16 years in the floral industry.  She also has a BA in English and extensive written communication experience.  Pam has more than 15 years experience working in the financial field in a variety of industries including aerospace, accounting, and commercial real estate.  She now works as a Probate Paralegal in a law firm that specializes in elder care law.  Pam also has a certification in Reflexology.  She is a teacher assistant in the EMP program.

 

Cheryl Hancin, MS, MBA, EMP, is a 2006 Graduate of IHAS four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner program and currently a teaching assistant for the sophomore class.  Cheryl has a love for Health, Fitness, and Recreation.  She attended the University of Connecticut for a BA and then headed to Florida International University for a Masters Degree in Sport and Physical Education.  She attended the University of Hartford to obtain her MBA.  Cheryl’s passion for health and fitness has evolved into healing the body, mind, and spirit.  She currently teaches Hatha Yoga and Pilates and works individually with clients to improve their health and fitness levels.  Cheryl also has training in Reiki Level 1 & 2, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Quantum Touch, Touch for Health and the Metamorphic Technique (Foot Therapy).

 

Patricia Howard, B.Sc., has completed the Practicum in Education from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts.  She has graduated the Brennan Healing Science Program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and completed the Advanced Studies Program in Education, Supervision, Individual and Group Process.  Patricia teaches year two of the EMC program.  She has a degree in Computer Applications and 20 years experience of training and consulting in the business world.  Patricia has a healing practice in Boston, MA.  She teaches MBSR [Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction] program in the junior and senior EMP classes, as well as throughout the New England area in health centers, hospitals and corporate settings.  She teaches workshops and sees clients both in the US and Europe.

 

Denise Landry, EMP, Chief of Engineering for the State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Family Services, graduated from IHAS in 1999.  In addition, she completed a graduate year of study at IHAS in 2003.  Denise is a teacher for the first year EMC class at IHAS, is a certified Hypnotherapist, Aroma Therapist, professional speaker, Research energy practitioner for the Study of The W.I.S.E. Method™ on a Fibromyalgia Grant from NIH, and the IHAS Liaison with the Lupus Foundation.  In addition, as a gifted healer, Denise has her own private practice as an Energy Medicine Practitioner in Middletown, CT.

 

Chris Lovley, BA, EMP, CSH, RM is in private practice as a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner in Wrentham, MA, specializing in Energy Psychology techniques such as EFT and TAT. She is a 2004 graduate of the Energy Medicine Practitioner program at the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences where she is currently a Preceptor for IHAS interns and a former teaching assistant for the Sophomore class from 2003-2005. She is certified in Body Centered Psychotherapy and is continuing her studies at the Connecticut Center for Human Growth and Development for Advanced Clinical Training in Body Centered Psychotherapy.. Chris is a Reiki Master/Teacher since 1994, certified in Magnified Healing, studied with Christine Page, M.D., for certification training in Insight and Intuition and with Richard Curtin, Psy.D., in Psychotherapeutic Reiki. She has a B.A. from The College of the Holy Cross.

 

Ron Mason, BS, EMP, is a 2005 graduate of the IHAS four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner program.  Ron has been a Reiki Master and Teacher since 2000 and is the Teacher for the first year EMC class and is an internship preceptor.  He has a BS in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and an AS in Computer Science from Greater New Haven State Tech.

 

Faith Parsons, MA, CSH, LPC, is Director of Curriculum for IHAS and is an Internship Preceptor for Junior and Senior students.  Faith has a genuine passion for helping others learn and grow to their fullest potential.  She is a 2002 graduate of IHAS, has a Masters degree in Mental Health/Pastoral Counseling and a Certificate in Spirituality from St. Joseph College, was awarded and the Francis J. Braceland Award for Excellence in Counseling and has a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from St. Francis Academy. Faith also has an extensive background in Instructional Design and Development and is internationally recognized for her expertise in Brain-based Accelerated Learning.  In addition to her Healing and Counseling practice, Faith teaches workshops in Accelerated Learning and public speaking for professional organizations like the International Alliance for Learning, The American Society for Training and Development and the Association for Psychological Type. 

 

Lynn Rosario, CH, EMP, CSH, is excited and thrilled to serve as preceptor for the internship students at IHAS.  Lynn is a 2004 graduate of the 4-year EMP program at IHAS, is a Certified Hypnotist, Reiki Master and Therapeutic Touch Practitioner, a Research Energy Medicine Practitioner for the Study of The W.I.S.E. Method™ on a Fibromyalgia Grant from NIH, as well as being a newlywed and first time Zsa Zsa (grandmother) to Ava Rose.  Lynn also has a private Energy Medicine Practice and has recently provided healing services for clients of St. Francis Hospice Home Care and Prudence Crandall Women's Center.  She is currently employed with a local Fortune 500 Insurance Company and her computer career spans over 25 years .  She looks forward to working with this years' healers.

 

John T. Rossi, EMP, Life in Recovery Coach, John is a graduate of the four year EMP program and came to IHAS and Energy Medicine after years of a multi faceted career in sales and management.    John is a teaching assistant for the EMP junior class, the EMC 1 class and a Teacher for the EMP Freshmen Class. He has a private practice in Malvern, Pennsylvania and is on staff at Awakening Wellness Studio in Chadds Ford, PA as well as Healthy Directions Center in Mendenhall, PA. John has been trained and has done a year of internship in Hospice work and he brings twelve years of experience and private study to his Recovery Coaching practice as well.

 

Marianne Seeber, MA, EMC is a graduate of the two-year Personal Growth and Spiritual Development, having earned a Certificate in Energy Medicine.  She is now a fourth year IHAS student, in the EMP program.  She holds a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Counseling, specializing in addictions.  She earned Reiki 1 and continuously attends various workshops and seminars in related fields.  She is a teacher assistant in the EMC program.

 

Bonnie Wolfe, M.S.PT, CSH, EMP graduated from University of Rhode Island with an MS in Physical Therapy and has specialized in manual therapy for 20 years.  She has worked in Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injuries as well as a variety of other medical settings.  She has a BS in psychology and a certification as a Trigger Point Therapist.  Currently Bonnie is practicing manual therapy in Wickford Rhode Island.  She is a recent graduate of the four-year IHAS Energy Medicine Practitioner Program and is a teacher in the EMP junior class.
