The curriculum is two-fold. It is focused on personal growth and the understanding of the role that defenses and fear play in illness. It also encompasses extensive training in hands-on techniques with experiential practice under close supervision and guidance from highly trained teachers and teacher assistants. If you have the deep desire to learn how to live from unconditional love, a passion for healing, and a willingness to experience the world and others in a meaningful way, then you are more than ready to join us.
Great opportunities await you at IHAS. As a member of our school, you become an integral part of 21st Century wholistic medicine and its innovative approach to healing. We contribute invaluable internship services to hospitals, nursing homes, and out-patient clinics. Our intern practitioners work in Family Medicine, Women’s Health, In-patient and Out-patient services, Oncology, Pre- and Post-Surgical Care, and general in-hospital treatment for all patients. Our students are in great demand as they provide treatments not only to patients but to the physicians, nurses, and staff as well. Fourth year students also have the opportunity to be a part of the on-going energy healing research project being conducted at the University of Connecticut Medical School. Our goal is to make this work a fundamental aspect of healthcare.
